Different triggers for different object detection sin home assistance

Hi

I’m strongly considering buying a few of the instar ip camera’s.
They seem to feature object detection (car, person, animal?).
I’ve been looking at the MQQT brokers, and home assistance guides.
I’ve seen that the alarms can be exposed, but I haven’t seen if it is possible to get different alarms based on whether an animal, person (or car) has been detected?
Is this possible?

I would like to turn on lights when a person and/or car has been detected.
I do not want this for animals, but I do want to receive a notification if an animal is detected.

Hello,

yes, the 2k+ cameras are able to distinguish between three sort of objects.
But I can’t find any appropriate MQTT-Topic on their homepage to differentiate between the kind of object detection alarms.

Maybe @INSTAR can bring some light into darkness. :slight_smile:

Without MQTT and Home automation the camera is able to switch on the relay, if a car or person is detected. But I guess you will miss the animals notification.
