Troubleshooting Issues with Instar 2K Cameras

Hello

I’m experiencing some issues with my Instar 2K camera that I hope to get help with. Specifically; I’ve noticed frequent connectivity problems and occasional drops in image quality. :upside_down_face:

The camera sometimes freezes or fails to record during motion events, which has been quite frustrating. I have checked https://www.instar.com/instar/downloads/QuickInstallation_IN-4011_web_en.pdf_ splunk documentation guide for reference but still need help.

Has anyone else encountered similar problems; and what solutions or troubleshooting steps have you found effective? I’ve already tried resetting the camera and updating the firmware; but the issue persists. :upside_down_face:

Hi yecosal,
which cam do you have ?

How did you install the cam, with 12V or over POE switch ( which switch ) ?

Are you sure, that there’s enough power ?

Are you working with floodlight ?

Would be nice to get some more informations to make a better troubleshooting.
