In der heutigen Folge von c’t uplink stellen wir euch das c’t Smart Home vor: Es funktioniert ohne Cloud, arbeitet mit Open-Source-Software und nutzt als Steuerungszentrale einen Raspberry Pi. Mit Node-Red als Steuerungs-Software geht beispielsweise das Licht an, wenn man die Wohnung betritt, oder im Bad läuft die Lüftung so lange, bis die Luftfeuchtigkeit einen bestimmten Wert unterschreitet. Einbinden kann man Hue-, Ikea- und Osram-Leuchten, smarte Thermostate, Sensoren für Bewegung, und und und.

Smarthome geht dank Node-RED ganz ohne Cloud. Und man kann sogar Geräte wie die Fritz Box fernsteuern und so „smart“ machen. Sie hilft dann bei der Präsenzerkennung, wechselt das Gäste-WLAN-Passwort automatisch und leistet noch viel mehr.

Keine INSTAR Kamera braucht eine cloud. Weder die alten, noch die aktuellen.
Cloud ist nur optional, wenn man das möchte.
